Ruby Bentall is smitten with DeliCakes cupcakes

Ruby (otherwise know as Minnie from Lark Rise to Candleford) was thrilled with her cupcakes and happily nabbed one of each variety for herself.

Then she tucked into the Butterfly fondant

Although after trying them all she did confess the rich chocolate fudge cupcakes were her favourite - I wonder what flavour birthday cake she'd like?

This week I am so excited that Minnie from Lark Rise to Candleford (actress Ruby Bentall) has emailed me to compliment my cakes "the cupcakes were gorgeous - my whole family and I devoured them all in one day. I am a huge cupcake fan and these were brilliant, so tasty and pretty. This is a picture of her actual box of cakes.

This morning's blog is all about being neighbourly - you know in the Desperate Housewife way - no I don't mean an affair but giving cakes to a friend who has just moved house. One of the blog followers has just moved and I am visiting tonight, so what nicer way to Welcome to your new home than a box of yummy cupcakes. Her's are still cooling in the kitchen waiting for frosting so in true Blue Peter fashion here's a picture of some I made earlier.

These are Raspberry and Rose Petal and Limocello Lemon.

I am a frequent visitor to "Mira Mira" in West Malling and so for Katy's pamper evening I made these delicious and dainty cupcakes with a 3D Butterfly the same as the Mira Mira logo. Customers were treated to these divine baby cupcakes and a glass of champagne while they tried out treatments.

Go and have a look in the next couple of weeks and you can see a selection of Deli Cakes delicious Valentines cupcakes dressing the window. I have made up some recipe cards - available in store - so you can have a go too.
